Jesus. My friend was over watching the game with me last night and had to drive home through that. I'm glad I stayed in!
the street was closed off for only an hour or so. you could get around it to other streets pretty easy.
Very cool pictures! I was in Kenmore last night. It was so bad that the cops literally told me that I had to find somewhere else to stay last night, because no one was allowed to cross through Kenmore up Beacon Street, which is where I live.
Great game, though. So much fun.
did you go somewhere else or convince them to let you through?
I had a friend who dorms at Northeastern, so after meandering around the city, I finally found a way down Huntington Avenue from Copley. I wasn't going to try and convince him. The cop was kinda grabbing my arm really hard and he was about twice my size... I wasn't going to push my luck, heh.
heh, that's probably good to avoid it, but i'm usually a hot-head in those situations. i push when i think something's unfair. plus, i don't like most police.
Yea, I was giving some sass, saying that I wanted to go home and it wasn't fair that I was being forced out in the cold. He just responded by saying that I should thought of that before I had gotten wasted and started rioting.. which is funny because I was obviously sober.
Ahhh well! All in all, it was a very fun night, and a memorable one.
P.S. I added you. Hope you don't mind.
ohhhh, abuse of power like that burns me... grrr.. added. ; )
Silly power tripping cops. I think they were just bitter that they couldn't celebrate with the rest of us. I felt bad in that respect, heh.
all that happened in woburn was a very loud explosion.. probably a firecracker or fire work gone wrong, lol
thanks! i walked up to some guys trying to let off rockets in a park next to davis square. i started to take a picture, and they jumped back and said, "Not on film!". so i told them it was digital. ; )
*g* seems people learned from the Superbowl riots, lol!
