|whoa, fucked up.

Jerry Lee Lewis went to an Assembly of God church and school to play piano but was kicked out, was the cousin of Jimmy Swaggart the televangelist, and married his 13 y/o cousin. |
I heard about him marrying his cousin, but not the AG part. That reminds me, I heard on the radio that some AG pastor/preacher/reverend/whatever got in trouble for a sermon telling his peeps that voting Democrat was a sin. Surprisingly a few people took offense and left, including some old lady they interviewed. I'm glad to hear not everyone follows their religious leaders blindly.
awesome. my dad pretty much does that. ::rolls eyes::
in his defense *snort* she was his second cousin. and he was from the south...
and he was from the south...
i don't know you mister, but them's fighting words . . .
i'm not casting aspersions so much as making a statement. i had no intention of satring another squabble across the Mason-Dixon, esp as the south obviously has all the gun toting loonies, and G-d on their side, while we only have all three major US military academies (assuming you consider the USAF military, of course) and the best scientists money can buy. i mean, i <3 the south lands.
oh, come on. at least half of the gun-toting loonies live in new hampshire.
see, the difference is i don't call those ones loonies cause they live WAY closer to me than any of the southern variety. besides, the NH ones teach me to do nifty things like skin rabbits, and fix pick-up trucks, and hit people with sticks, and NOT vote red. so i'll happily call them teammates any day.
NH voted for W in 2000, actually, and it only went to kerry by <1% of the vote this year. and plenty of states in the south went to W by a similar margin. just because a state is red doesn't mean that everyone there thinks it should be.
(sorry, i was just going to let it go, but i've been listening to a lot of south-bashing for the last month, and i've got a bit of a chip on my shoulder about it. :) )
i know all of this.
i was just playing, and not hoping to stir anything major. in truth i have friends who voted W, and such is their right. i didn't vote kerry, nor W, personally. i was just playing a game.
as it has gone too far, i will now step off, with my sincerest apologies
damn you internet for fucking with my communicative abilities! no apologies needed.
