Tell my friends at Liverpool i said hola!
eduardo offers you his protection.
Holy shit dude, thats the best thing i've read in about 6 months.
i'll say hi to the little men. ; )
OH MY GAWD!
All that paper and crap is why the shirt was most likely grossly overpriced. I used to work for Old Navy (Banana and Old Navy are both owned by Gap, Inc) and their stuff is pretty cheap. Our displays were bare minimum, and stuff only got folded before being shoved into a plastic bag.
Clothes are stupid. I have to look all professional and whatnot EVERY DAY. Why? No one ever sees us.. I work for a bloody courier company. In a cube. Oh no, the fedex guy might get offended if I'm wearing jeans!
I say go in a pair of hawaiian shorts, a tank top, and work boots. Just to protest. :)
could you tell them to not wrap it up all "nice"?
ya, but i didn't think to until i was outside. i was in shock about
the enormity of the bag. i usually am ready to catch that when
cashing out groceries and other purchases. i think the overbearing
ambiance of the store just stunned me.
this is why i like working for a software engineering company. a not-stupid one.
me too. who do you work for? i've been with interwise.com for over five years now.
small company called vanu inc (vanu.com). only been here for a few months, but it's great so far.
heh, maybe your infrastucture and our platform will make a super-communications baby. i'm just down the street from you next to the cambridge-side mall.
word. it's a great area to work.
but ja, dude. perhaps we could get lunch sometime.
I'm a big fan of Banana Republic's linen shirts and slacks. It's a great look during the summer.
it's an expensive look.. for many reasons and to many people.

Conditioned Responce? I think Not!
I'm beginning to understand (in part) the reason we hate those joints. At the check out stand of every grocer and 7/11 across the globe, I see Paris Hilton covers with the AristoCunt holding a "rope handle, lacquered sheen, paper bag"- broadcasting shite to the masses. Heres a thought- ship the bitch out to feed the "Just a dollar a day could make a difference" kids in Africa (she'd feed at least Two of them!?). You know they get sick of that Wheat Mash shit!?
awesome! i'll put in my vote.
I work in retail and the employees in my store are amazed with how much the company wastes paper and plastic. It's pretty much ridiculious how much we throw through away. On top of that the company makes no efforts to recycle any of it. We don't even go through the extremes that BR and it's affiliates go through. I guess all the advertising and waste does make a difference for most companies though, because those stores are recognizable almost anywhere.
