nice. i'd love to see what they look like in real life...
i bought a pair of the v1's last year, and they're holding up really well. they're quite comfy, yet wide enough to feel and seem a little like duck shoes.
When are you teaching me to ride backwards?
in town tonight? there's a parking lot near my house. i have to stick around my place for a DSL troubleshooting appointment at 8, but i'll be around and i got a fixey for you to practice on.
I feel like shit right now, but I can dope myself up and meet you. That school parking lot? I've been riding fixed for like a month or so now, but I feel like I'm getting worse at it.
hangover? too many whip-its?
in what way are you getting worse?
it sounds like fun if you can make it out.
Pish. Just my body in revolt. I feel like I'm not as fast or keeping up a steady cadence like I did when initially went over to fixed. Or that I get tuckered out a lot sooner.
Anyway, what time should I be over there?
i'll be home at 7:30 on... this will be fun.
ha! thank you sb. do you approve?

Hey, you don't know me, but I'm a friend of Tom's and I saw your post on Blackspots. I've wanted to buy a pair for awhile, but they're kind of $$$ for my piss-poor student self, so I wanted a few testimonials before making the splurge. Are they comfy? Did you buy your regular size, bigger or smaller?
i think the size was perfect. i'm a 6 mens and got the 8 womens which are supposed to be the same. the fluevog characteristics come through. these are the right shape for my foot. they're hard like any tougher shoe, but i'm sure i'll be very comfortable in a few more days.
Sorry, that last comment was from me. Didn't mean to post a creepy anon.
