-unrelated personal bathroom brainstorming-
as a whole, we are never going to lose our personal inhibitions while sitting in a restroom stall at work next to a person who is sitting on the other side of the stall wall. while i'd like to say, "just suck it up" (actually, "just push it out"), our fear of organic noises made in the dead silence will usually overcome our normally unashamed confidence. we sit there uncomfortably wasting time making the audible more discreet. i have a solution.... the new nifty ringtone you paid $2 for. play your favorite ringtone at a medium volume as cover up. in context, it won't be annoying and will help calm other listeners' anxieties as well. malls play restroom tunes. why not at work?
actually, you might just get kicked in the boyfriend. (Quotation TM, M. Phister)
