One movie i like more than the book: blade runner|
i like them both, but i feel like i can't really compare them. both good, very different.
nope. maybe i should. i know there are so, so, so many offshoot books... do you have any recomendations to start? i have trouble reading long books. i do well with short stories.
You would have to ask Gregorian (if you write me an e-mail to him I will print it out for him to read, or you could call him, he'd be thrilled).
Honestly though, I think all the books suck... you could see what G says though.
you don't let him use email yet?
No computers... go figure.
hmm.... interesting. you don't think an introduction would be valuable for their future?
Yes, but I want them to understand how computers work before they work them.
So, Gregorian is working on building a radio (to get electronics xp) then I want to have him start working on other things, leading up to putting together a computer, then starting with simple programming before he's being an end user...
Of course they can not do it all, how deep to go will have to be picked and choosed, but I feel it will make him much more adapt and proficient with a computer in his future, then otherwise.
are there any specific SW books you would recommend?
I totally agree. Although, I liked the title of the book better than the movies.
it was really good to see you again. i wish we had had more time to hang.
you're welcome to come visit anytime. ; )
cool...I have never been to boston, it seems fun. it was good to see you too.
