putting alcohol and partying off for a bit to let my body recover from the past weeks of gorging/debauchery/toxification/sleeplessness.
..and i missed my bikey very much... nice to get to ride today.
Thursday we begin to demo the ceiling at Paramount! When we riding, yo?
sweet, you gonna use dynomite??? wanna get meet somewhere and ride for foodstuff tonight?
yeah, like Jimmy Walker, I'm dyn-o-mite!
Yo, sms me. And we're on for New years, buster brown!
there's this whole massive SCUL de-tox going on, although most people are waiting until after New Year's.
Me, I figure I'm going to drink and smoke more, to help shore up the blow to the economies of Miluakee, Puerto Rico, Virginia and the Carolinas that this is going to cause.
ya, i might have a little new years cheer. do you know when/where the ride is? i heard about it but haven't gotten any details yet.
All I know is the date, and even that I feel is me making an assumption. Hopefully Skunk will send out an e-mail today or tomorrow.
I'm not going to drink until the swelling in my toes goes down (long story (okay, short story too dumb and embarrassing to tell)). So if you're looking for someone to not drink with tonight, I'll be around. So long as walking isn't involved.
last night was lost... my external alky gave in to my inner alky.
i want to hear the embarrassing story.
well, I was biking through Davis on my way for some belated Saturday chorizo when I weaved slightly to avoid a car and then noticed I was a little close to the cars on the curb... in fact about to ride right into the back of a poor parker. So I jagged out, but a little too late and ended up kicking the tire at pretty high biking speed.
The swelling has stopped and started to subside. The bruising is pretty nasty, though. I'm pretty sure it's broke, my toe, but since it's not the big toe there's not much that can be done.
Oh yeah, I lied about swerving inwards to avoid cars. I was just being absent minded. Don't tell anyone.
dude, are you going to be able to ride? maybe we can send out a bulletin asking for pain meds.
it's just a toe and not the big one. It's easier to ride than it is to walk and walking's just limping.
I have an incredible pain tolerance, even before I bring in my ability to disassociate pain (which wouldn't work here, anyway, really).
and i still have things to give you.
You should join Skunk and I!
