heh, hawkegirl was asking what my family's colloquial word for that was. i think mine just called it eggs in toast.
eggs in a basket here :)
happy belated birthday :)
your icon made me think of a mental image i had last night. i was holding baby J and was in awe that he came out of mom. ... then i thought of mom coming out of mom out of mom out of mom out of mom out of .... in a seemingly endless stream of female heritage, connected from head to vag to head to....
"i was holding baby J and was in awe that he came out of mom"
And I thought that look on your face was that you were about to fart...
Where are you from that it's eggs in a basket?
I've heard eggs in a basket, egg in the middle, and johnny one eyes (I wont repeat what Dill thinks his mom called it).
I think egg in a basket is a midwest colloquial word...?
I'm from Rhode Island lol :)
And my parents are from Turkey so not sure about the midwest thing :)
Well, next time you talk to them ask them who they got the name from!!!
This could be an issue for homeland security!
hehehe my parents actually didn't make these for me...it was a guy i was dating (who was from mass)
but my friend amy's parents called it the same thing (from RI).
Pfffft. How can you people even call that breakfast? There was no bacon, or Captain Crunch.
bacon can be a meal in and of itself *nod*
that's really boring, dude.
i know. that's what i said this morning.
my soon-to-be-ex-roommates refer to it as "bird-turd"
mmmmm, yorkshire pudding and sausages!
i'm pretty sure wiki doesn't have an entry on my dad and his names for foods. :)
